First steps towards better browsing
If you're experiencing problems when browsing the internet, we recommend that follow the steps below before reporting your concerns to your internet service provider. In the majority of cases, the source of poor performance can be traced to the users computer. The programs listed in the adjacent column offer trusted methods of repairing the following problems.

Unresponsive browser
Internet browsers use your internet cache to store large files such as pictures and animations. The stored files are reused when you revisit the same web page, decreasing the loading time. The downside of this system is that when the cache is full, the browser is forced to delete existing files in order to store new or updated versions. The result can be reduced browser speed and slow web page loading.

Slow disk access
Over time, the files you open, view and save become defragmented. This happens because your operating system splits files into many parts to make use of available disk space. This means that your hard drive has to work harder, as it needs to recreate the file before it can be opened.

Media delivery
Like many web sites, Songroom uses Adobe® Flash™ technology to deliver advanced presentations to your computer screen. Periodically, Adobe® releases updates for the Flash™ platform, offering improved functionality and security features so we recommend that all users download the latest plug-in for their preferred browser.

Outdated drivers
The hardware attached to your computer requires software drivers to enable communication with your operating system. As new technologies appear, your existing drivers may become outdated and require updating. Important updates include your graphics, audio and motherboard drivers. We recommend that you visit each manufacturers web site and install the latest driver installation packages.
